3) to coordinate with police's authorities, and valid agents of the security (fronts of security) and the instances of prevention and attention of disasters of the District of Barranquilla and the aid organisms the actions tendientes to guarantee the security of the citizens, residents in the neighborhoods of the Town”.
Studies, Rehearsals and Approaches
Mary Fernanda Contreras, Susana Bacca, Pedro Díaz, Josselyn Cures, Lorena Gullo, Juan Carlos García, Vidal Monroy, Andrés Aryans and Paolo Aragon, they make presence with his art in this exhibition hung in the Gallery Lincoln of the Cultural Center Colombo American. It programs for young musicians
The Bank of the Republic of Bogotá presents to the young talents in the music its program of Scholarships for the 2008, valid for the whole country. He/she has as objective to stimulate the improvement of the young Colombian musicians, in order to elevate the excellence levels in this art by means of the formation of young talents.
The scholarships will be granted to carry out studies in the following disciplines: Song. Composition. Address of choirs. Orchestra's address. Guitar. Instruments of old music. Symphonic orchestra's instruments. Theory of the music and Tuning of pianos. Term for delivery of documents: May 30 2008 up to 5:00 o'clock p.m. should give them to the Bank of the local Republic.
The program goes directed to those who have not had the opportunity to carry out academic programs in the exterior in this discipline, except courses of languages. The applicants should have some participation trajectory in the national or regional artistic environment; age: maxim 32 years, (to have been born starting from June 1° 1977). The program is not directed to students that are already studying studies in the exterior. Any official of the Bank of the Republic, neither family in fourth grade of consanguinity and second of likeness, he/she will be able to compete.

S.E.A. & Programming 2008
We announce to our members of the Society of Writers from the Atlantic that we begin in March the literary and cultural gatherings. For this year we will have available two spaces that have been kindly approved to our Society. One, in the multiple living room of the Theater Amira of the Rosa, accepted the programming from the Bank of the Republic of Bogotá, as they have come him making for five years; here they will be on last Saturdays of every month with the accustomed gatherings: poetry, stories, theater, presentations of books.
That is to say, in March it corresponds us the day 29, in April the 26, in May, the 31, and so forth, from 9:00 in the morning up to 12:00 in the noon.
The other living room, will be in Combarranquilla Unit Boston, where we will have it every second Friday of every month, of 7:00 at 9:00 of the night. This first gathering will be March 14. In April it will correspond the day 11, in May the day 16, and this way the other months. In this living room, very well gifted, we will carry out gathering-shops, we will have invited lecturers, professors, talleristas, exhibitors, other writers, in short, they will be significant learnings in literature areas and general culture.
In this respect, from we already invite our professional members with these competitions, so that they make us arrive their leaves of life with the briefcase of conferences, seminars or shops that can offer. Equally we invite professionals that don't still make part of our society, so that they offer us their knowledge.
