JUAN CARLOS RUEDA GÓMEZ - Barranquilla (Colombia)
To who does it benefit the war?,
To who harms the peace?
We want an answer,
But nobody can give it.
It is difficult to think,
of to believe and to understand
that there are willing people
to kill for the pleasure
that it offers them to obtain
fruits of the violence.
How many more widows we will have,
how many orphans without bread...?
Until where will we arrive?
How much will we tolerate?
If somebody ends up sowing
the seed of the peace,
nobody wants to water it.
And if it is able to germinate,
you force dark of the wrong
they arise to annihilate it.
They don't move the massacres,
people don't feel already.
And if at all it rains blood
they take out umbrella... and it is already!
My country needs an operation;
it is in not well state.
Of urgency it requires a transfusion,
today he is bleeding.
I don't know that it will pass with my country.
I don't know that it will happen, if it continues this way:
Some stealing... other killing...
All violating the human rights,
the corrupt ones plundering the Arks of the State,
the drug, circulating, to the children corrupting.
And you, there sat down, quiet, prone,
neither you give yourself for informed
of what passes to your side.
Tomorrow you won't already have
neither air to breathe;
death will only find,
only sadness and wickedness.
Now all should arm
with the best rifle:
that of the work and willpower,
it makes aware and civil value
and to shoot the bullets of the honesty,
loaded with the gunpowder of the fraternity.
